Meet the Staff

Dana Goos, Office Administrator

Dana has been a business owner in the past and knows the ins and outs of multi-tasking as well as meeting the needs of customers.  She joined the NCGIA in January 2010, shortly before we opened the school.  She may not have a background in grooming, but she can manage to get just about anything done in a very efficient manner!

Dana’s pleasant voice will most likely be the one you hear on the other end of the phone line whenever you call the NCGIA office.  We are so happy to have her as part of our amazing team!

Liz Boles, CFMG, CFCG

Liz has a Bachelor of Science  Business Management degree from Clemson University and is a certified instructor with the American Red Cross, teaching pet first aid and CPR.  Liz also has experience working as a veterinary technician, which helps tremendously in her duties here at the school where she serves as an instructor’s assistant.

Liz is also very computer savvy and creative. She is the one responsible for authoring the online videos found on our website as well as some of the other material put out by the NCGIA.  We truly appreciate all of the many talents Liz possess, as they are a nice compliment to all that we are doing to promote quality cat groomer training and certification.

Olivia German, CFMG, CFCG

Olivia has grown up in the cat world, helping her mother operate a cattery and show Persian cats from the time she was a young child.  Olivia spent several days at her mother’s cat grooming salon, eventually learning the ins and outs of bathing, drying, and shaving cats.  Olivia is fearless with the cats and knows how to handle even the highly aggressive ones.

Olivia has gained a solid reputation locally as an excellent cat groomer and has many loyal clients, some driving hundreds of miles to receive her grooming services.  We are pleased to have Olivia as an instructor at the National Cat Groomers School where she works with both beginner and experienced groomers, helping them be the best they can be.

Lynn Paolillo, CFMG

Before finding her true passion in pet grooming, Lynn gained invaluable experience in fields seemingly unrelated to her future in pet care. She has served as a supervisor of two before and after-school programs at local elementary schools, an assistant manager in retail, a docent at a local art gallery, and has crafted innovative cocktails at an award-winning restaurant and hotel. All of these fields helped her develop skills in customer service, creativity, and above all, patience, which are essential for pet grooming.

Lynn’s fascination with the pet grooming industry began during her volunteer work with a small dog rescue organization. Shortly after, she started her new job as a bather with Aussie Pet Mobile in New Jersey. After training and working with Aussie, she decided to take time off and move to Georgia to attend the prestigious Graywood Academy of Pet Care & Design, where she received her Dermatech Certification with the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists. This specialized training led her to grow a successful grooming business inside a veterinary hospital in New Jersey.

In 2010, to push her grooming skills to the next level, she completed her Certified Feline Master Groomer certification with the NCGIA. Even though she was sad to leave her many canine clients in New Jersey, Lynn was beyond thrilled to join the NCGIA team in South Carolina grooming cats exclusively and helping to train other groomers as well.

Juli Anderson, CFMG, CFCG

Juli serves as a part time Certifier and Instructor at the school. She currently owns Anam Cara Mobile Grooming business in New Jersey, serving her area with the finest feline grooming available.

Juli is great with people, great with cats, and has a fantastic insight into what it means to grow a business from the ground up. We are thrilled to have her on our staff!
