We like to think of the two weeks at the National Cat Groomers School as a vacation education. After class hours, there is plenty of time for rest, relaxation, shopping, dining, and being entertained.
Both the school and the Westin Poinsett are located in downtown Greenville, SC, within walking distance of the gorgeous Falls Park, award-winning Liberty Bridge, and the Reedy River where outdoor activities such as Shakespearian plays, jazz festivals, artist gatherings, and the farmer’s market can be found. There is a plethora of local dining that provides a taste of Southern cuisine and local flavor from some of the best chefs around.

Because everything is so close and the Westin provides complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, as well as to and from the school each day, students have access to just about everything without the need for a car.
Downtown Greenville has been featured in “Southern Living” magazine and received the Great American Main Street Award for its local charm. It is simply a great place to stay while attending cat grooming school for two weeks.
