The NCGIA conducts 2-day workshops in countries outside the US.  The typical workshop consists of a day of lecturing to lay the foundation for the hands-on skills that are taught at the end of the first day. The Instructor performs live grooming on the provided cats to demonstrate the various grooming elements and handling techniques used to achieve the best results.

Day 2 of the workshop consists of hands-on grooming time for each student.  Typically each student grooms 2 cats themselves while receiving instruction and critique from the Instructor.

The entire workshop is packed full of information and training that will help each student improve their cat grooming skills.

If interested in hosting a 2-day workshop at your school or grooming facility, please email or call the NCGIA office.  Requirements are a facility large enough to accommodate the desired amount of attendees.  Also, enough cats will need to be provided for each attendee unless it is specified that each attendee will bring their own cats.  Workshops conducted in the US will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that our BUY A DAY program is a great alternative to hosting a workshop. Cats are provided, there is plenty of space, and the facility is specifically designed for safe, efficient and quality cat grooming.
