Danelle started her feline-exclusive grooming business over two decades ago, before the world started “googling” things online and before social media was a thing. There was a lot of resistance then to bathing and drying cats. The common belief was that cats groomed themselves. Despite all that, Danelle built a cat clientele numbering in the thousands, with some clients driving several hours every six weeks just to get their cats groomed. Anja Battaglia, CFMG, International Certifier NCGI, BBA and passionate Business Coach & Strategist loves to inspire and motivate groomers all over the world to reach for a fulfilling career and a life of their dreams. With her move to the US in 2021 she built a collaborating network of cat grooming salons to accommodate training, and certification not only in her own businesses, but in various locations across the US, as well as back home in Europe. When not going cats, Anja advises business owners, entrepreneurs and specifically groomers in the art to profitably build a business and sell with ease. Rachel Diller

Rachel is a CFMG & Certifier for NCGI. She is also a NCMG and owns two salons in Littleton, Colorado: The Poodle Shop and Urban Sophisticats. After earning her CFMG in 2011, she opened her feline-exclusive salon,Urban Sophisticats, in 2016. In 2021 she added on an upscale cat boarding facility.
Rachel operates both locations with 8 employees and still finds time to enjoy her hobbies, which include spending time with her Mastiffs as well as being an avid dirtbike rider. Rachel has shown both mastiffs and oriental shorthairs, holding the title for the #1 Mastiff in 2018 & 2019. She has served as a judge for Tournament of Champions at the Mastiff Club of America National Specialty.
Melissa Hall
Touch of Class Grooming, Cat Grooming Teacher Training/Certification in Yuma, AZ
As a second generation groomer, Melissa began her pet grooming journey in 1996 with her mother and sister. When not leading her team of stellar employees at her own successful salon in Arizona, she enjoys showing and competing with her Standard Poodles. In 2014, she moved into the world of cat grooming by completing her Certified Feline Master Groomer certification and began showing one of her Persians as well. Now Melissa shares her incredible wealth of cat grooming and business building knowledge as a Wahl Brand Ambassador, NCGI Certifier and hosts private grooming instruction at her salon for cat groomers from around the world.

Patty earned her CFMG in Jan 2015, worked at a salon till she started One White Whisker LLC Mobile Cat Grooming in June 2016. She started competing with cats at grooming competitions in June 2015 at the NAPCG show in Raleigh, NC. She placed 1st the following year in the Cat Rescue contest, followed by 2nd place at Barkleigh Groom Expo Hershey in the Abstract Runway. She has continued to compete multiple times every year since then, in the USA, Canada & virtually, to #representcatgrooming. Her latest placements include APF 2020, NAPCG Worldwide Stay at Home 2020, ICATS 2020, Maryland Groom 2021, APF 2022. Patty is a NCGI Trainer/Certifier for Feline Creative Grooming providing PPI & CFCG testing both at her home in Mooresville, NC and internationally at the groomer’s location.

Jacque Opp was born and raised in North Dakota. Jacque has been an avid animal lover her entire life. She started her grooming career in 2006. Quickly moved to managing a busy salon with more than 9 employees. In 2012 she opened her own mobile grooming salon in ND serving 9 small towns. She loves spending time with her young children and amazing husband. Jacque earned her CFMG title in 2017. At that point she limited her grooming areas to 2 towns. She became a cat grooming extraordinaire and is a Certifier for the National Cat Groomers Institute. In 2018 Jacque Joined the Wahl Animal USA Ambassador team. She takes great pride in showing other groomers how to work smarter not harder with their tools and cat grooming goals.

One of NCGI’s Canadian Certifiers, Chelsea Waddell is the owner of Catty Canines Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a Certified Master Dog Groomer with CPPS, Certified Feline Master Groomer and Certified Feline Creative Groomer with the NCGI. When not juggling her busy salon, 6 employees, and grooming pets in both standard and creative grooms, you’ll find her spending time with her pets and at the barn riding horses. With a passion for education, she hopes to inspire other groomers to pursue taking their skills to new heights!
