I bought this program a year and a half ago after doing research on how I would go about starting a career as a feline groomer. I wasn’t looking to groom dogs as cats are my passion. I know most people that look into it are dog groomers who want to learn more about cat grooming. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone and everyone who plans on grooming cats. At 40 this is me deciding to follow my passion after 20 years in the medical field. I talked to a lot of people and the one thing that stood out was the NCGI is the only true reputable program available for feline grooming. Anywhere else you will learn 95% dog grooming with a little cat knowledge sprinkled in. I have never been great at online school so I was nervous but the way it is designed and the support from the staff / other students / former students / professional feline groomers / CFMGs was AMAZING! The syllabus is designed so you can do it at your own pace and have as much support as you need. The fellow feline loves and groomers and NCGI staff and instructors is something I can’t even put into words other than to say at 40 I feel like I have finally found my tribe!! You will not regret investing in yourself and your future when you purchase this. Anyone who plans on grooming cats either once a week or every day should be educated and know what they are doing. CATS ARE NOT THE SAME AS DOGS and after far too long being pushed aside or lumped in, the NCGI is making sure people know it! Doing the PPI for 10 days in Yuma with a Master Groomer Certifier was the cherry on top of all the hard “book” work and it was EVERYTHING. the whole program and organization is top tier. Don’t fall for imitation programs or inferior ones because I’m sure someone will try to imitate it to make their money but you get what you pay for and this is the real thing from start to finish!!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!⭐️

If you’re at all on the fence of whether or not you think the NCGI’s Syllabus is right for you, just go for it. I had been grooming cats sparingly at my job for years and really wanted to expand my knowledge because I felt as if there was something missing. Once I delved into the content, every question I ever had and MORE were answered. I was able to put to practice all the things I learned through the written and video content throughout the course and it’s really taken the quality and efficiency of my grooms to the next level. It’s all self paced, so there’s no timeline for you to have to go through the course which was super helpful because as a human we all go through things and we get busy so sometimes things have to be put on the back burner. Every module of the Syllabus is explained in great detail and was easy to understand. You can tell the NCGI really put a lot of effort into creating it and making it the #1 training course on all things cat grooming! I highly recommend getting the Syllabus with bonuses as well because the additional content in there is definitely worth it!! I have worked in the healthcare industry for 30 years. Since I trained at the NCGI and started my own feline-exclusive cat grooming business, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
