Personalized Private Instruction (PPI) and Practical Exams with NCGI Certifiers

Get hands-on training by a pro! Contact one of our NCGI Certifiers to learn cat grooming at a location closer to you. 

The Certifier program is on an invitation-only basis, with CFMGs selected based on location, grooming skills, salon setup, clientele and more. Each Certifier receives resources and training to help them work with students of all different backgrounds. We recommend students go through the Complete Cat Groomer Training Syllabus prior to attending hands-on instruction and practical exam attempts. (NOTE: Some Certifiers actually require this!)

Exams

Written exams can be taken via proctor, Certifier, or with an NCGI staff member. Practical exams must be taken in-person with an NCGI Certifier.
