Get hands-on training by a pro! Contact one of our NCGI Approved Trainers to learn cat grooming at a location closer to you. The Approved Trainer/Certifier program is on an invitation-only basis, with CFMGs selected based on location, grooming skills, salon setup, clientele and more. Each trainer receives resources and training to help them work with students of all different backgrounds. The Trainers recommend students go through the Complete Cat Groomer Training Syllabus prior to attending hands-on instruction and practical exam attempts.

Exams

Written exams can be taken via proctor, NCGI staff, an Approved Trainer or Certifier. Practical exams must be taken in-person with a NCGI Certifier. See trainer list below, Certifiers are noted.
