One of the most common calls a cat groomer gets is for matted kitties. Anywhere from just a few knots to severely pelted-to-the-skin, all groomers need to know efficient de-matting. More often than not, the cat isn’t too happy about enduring the pelt removal process. This course covers the recommended tools, products and techniques for quickly and safely removing mats, clumps, and severe pelts. We’ve included several video demonstrations, step-by-step grooming and de-matting, along with how best to talk to the cat’s owner about what to expect from mat removal.
